Bright layered papercut: St Mary's Lighthouse, Northumberland

The first in a series of Northumbrian scenes this papercut image in five brightly coloured layers captures St Mary's lighthouse on a crisp sunny morning in February. Whitley Bay was a favourite destinations for factory workers from Glasgow in their annual holiday week and it continues to draw visitors throughout the year for a bracing beach walk, an ice cream and a look at the seals on the island.
Designed by me from an original photograph, each layer was cut by Ray's lasers and carefully hand assembled in my studio.

This artwork is suitable for a mount/mat with a 150 - 160 mm (6 inch) square aperture ready for framing in the box frame of your choice. It is also available framed as shown mounted in front of the board in a 320 mm square frame.

Your papercut will be sent by first class tracked post in a protective card box..

A similar papercut can be made in other colours of card - or you can have your own original image rendered in coloured layers. Just send a message and I'll give you a quote.
